The Florida Panhandle

Perdido Key State Recreation Area offers skim boarding, surfing, swimming, showers, picnicking, bird watching, surf fishing. Perdido Key State Recreation Area is located at 12301 Gulf Beach Highway in Pensacola, Florida.


Big Lagoon State Park offers camping with full facilities, boat ramp, picnicking, swimming, boating, visitor’s center, nature trail, and fishing. It is located at 12301 Gulf Beach Highway in Pensacola, Florida.

Navarre Beach has several recreational opportunities that the entire family will enjoy such as nature walks, various water sports like sailboating and jetskiing, golf, and more. Navarre Beach is located on Rt. 399 on Santa Rosa Sound


Fort Walton Beach is home to Ross Marler Park, Okaloosa Area, Okaloosa Island Pier, and John C. Beasly Park on all Rt. 30 on Choctawhatchee Bay.
Destin is home to Grayton Beach State Recreation Area, which is a 400-acre park that offers camping, boat ramp, swimming, nature trail, picnic area, visitor’s center, boating, and fishing. The park is located in between Destin and Panama City on county road 283 just a bit south of US 98.


Saint Andres State Recreation Area is found in Panama City and is a 1,260 park offering nature trails, swimming, fishing, and all kinds of wildlife including alligators.

West Central Florida

St. Petersburg and Clearwater are home to unique beaches such as Caladesi Island, Sand Key, Fort DeSoto Park, Blue Wave Beach, Honeymoon Island, and Pass-a-Grille. Pass-a-Grille is the only beach with such activities as boat ramps, bike rentals, picnic areas and more.
Sarasota beaches especially the Siesta Key’s beach has been judged as being one of the whitest and most powdery in the Great International White Sand Contest. You can find all kinds of fun beach and water activities including lifeguards, volleyball, playgrounds, and tennis courts.

Southwest Florida Beaches
Bonita Springs is home to unique and exciting beaches with many wonderful things to do from watersports, boating, swimming, shelling, and of course relaxing on the beach. 
Boca Grande is a magnificent beach with white powdery sand that offers awesome views of the Gulf of Mexico with warm and inviting waters.
Other beaches in this area include Ft. Myers Beach, Fort Myers, Gasparilla Island, Marco Island, Naples, and Sanibel Island. All with various opportunities for fun in the sun.

This is just a few of the beaches scattered along the gulf shoreline. When it comes to visiting Florida and all the beaches, you may find that you need a vacation that will give you days and days of exploring.
