Florida Family Beaches
When it comes to family fun, Florida is at the top of the list for all kinds of fun things to see and do including many beautiful beaches.
If you are taking the kids along on the vacation to Florida then you more than likely want to know which beaches are kid friendly. To help you decide where your next family vacation will be here is a list of family beaches that are sure to entice every member of your family with fun things to do.
Panama City, Panama City Beach, Chipola, and Youngstown are awesome places to begin. During spring and summer, you will find many kid friendly activities dotting the beaches. Panama City beach offers several wonderful parks with activities including a maze, laser tag, paintball, batting cages, kiddy rides, go-kart tracks, miniature golf, and various water attractions.

The Florida Keys also has some wonderful family attractions including areas such as all the Florida Keys, Key West, Marathon, and Key Largo. Key Largo is home to the John Pennekamp State Park, which is the first underwater state park in the United State featuring a 120-square mile area of coral reefs, seagrass beds, and mangrove swamps with a large beach area. Main attractions include the beach, scuba diving, sailing, glassbottom boat tour and more. Another great family attraction in Key Largo is the only underwater hotel in the world, which is Key Largo Undersea Park.
The area known as Florida’s Gold Coast includes Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, and West Palm Beach. Here you will find some of the most popular family activities in all of Florida. Some of the things your family will enjoy include the awesome beach, snorkeling, diving, surfing, swimming, boating, fishing, polo, and even golf.
The gulf coast of Florida includes Brandon, Clearwater Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, and Plant City. The Clearwater/St. Petersburg beach is commonly referred to as Orlando’s Beach. This area has miles of top rated beaches that are all kid friendly.
The emerald coast of Florida includes Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, and Okaloosa Island. This area has some of the silkiest white sand in all of Florida with all kinds of water sports to enjoy.
Daytona Beach may be the most popular beach of all for family fun as it is only an hour away from Disney World in Orlando. Fun on the beach and in the water for every member of the family is a sure thing.
The Space Coast area is of course near the Kennedy Space Center. This area is 72 miles of shoreline where your family can enjoy fun in the sun with the background view of rockets nearby at the Kennedy Space Center.
